RIM BlackBerry PlayBook hits shelves today
Should read more like "RIM BlackBerry Playbook Sits on Shelves today"
Anyway... I am starting to get a little excited for what the playbook can really offer. This devise should focuse 100% of its attention to the current BlackBerry user... The business user ... I can totaly see myself using this device for secure email (haha) and making presentations.
Unfortunately, I still think its a complete joke that a devie that should have a secure email client doesnt. I also think is BS that I need to have another BB devise to sync. Right now this devise isnt going to sell more then 50k units but I can totally see it being a great devise in the immediate future.

Ok dude, seriously. Learn to spell. You "devise" a plan. Your blackberry is a "device".

Yawn...
Seriously, does my misspelled word really bug you that much?
If so I think you had one too many beers and someone needs to be cutoff.

I dont remember people doing all this complaining about when Apple released the Ipod back in 2001 or whatever it was about the fact that they were releasing a product that was not their normal type of products.
Sometimes you have to buck the trend to remain relevant in the market. This is one of blackberry's attempts at this, whether it will succeed or fail remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure, if it dose fail, it will likely be because of people complaining about a WIFI ONLY tablet at this time not having a BUILT IN EMAIL CLIENT. Are you going to tether yourself to a wifi hotspot at all times and use this as your only way of checking email instead of a laptop or smartphone? No? Then why is it such a big deal?
And this is for multimedia, not business. The blackberry bridge is the only indication of any real business use on this.
