Quad-core optimized games that you can play right now

0. phoneArena posted on 22 Mar 2012, 04:19

So, you got your hands on that dodgy Asus Transformer Prime with its lovely quad-core Tegra 3 SoC, and now you want to actually take advantage of all of its computing power. Well, guess what, you really don't have too many options on the software front for a real quad-core experience, but there are a few. This is where you'll ready about them all...

so, it means buying galaxy s3 for only 4 games. I will stick with my s2 which can play everything.

the s3 will still be able to play all the other games,by using only 2 cores, but these particular games can support up to 4 cores at the same time.

actually what's wrong with s2 it can do anything. why you want another version if you can do anything with a cheaper phone.

but will your S2 be able to play these games? not..

you can be stupid, but don't be this stupid..

I know this may sound like a shocker: people don't just want the SIII because it's going to have a quad-core processor (although it is still not fully confirmed that it will have a quad-core processor and not a dual-core A15 one). There are other reasons to want the SIII such as the 4.7-4.8 inch HD screen, 12 MP camera, etc.

And also these games were for the Tegra 3 processor, just like last year when the Tegra 2 came out and nVidia released games for that. Once other quad-core devices are released, you will start to see more games coming out that will say "quad-core optimized".

Their are plenty more apps officially optimized for Tegra 3 available! ALSO PLEASE MENTION SHINE RUNNER ISNT FULLY OPTIMIZED FOR Tegra 3, it just has a few nice special effects but nothing like Riptide GP's enhancements for Tegra 3.... Also Add the following: (Please find out the actual improvement for Tegra 3 on Tegra Zone)
Big Top THD (Tegra 3 version) If you look on Tegra Zone the Tegra 3 version has better lighting effects, shadowing...
SiegeCraft THD (Tegra 3 Version) More avatars on screen at once, better shadowing and water effects etc.
Sprinkle (Tegra 3 version) Slightly better improvements, not too noteworthy
SoulCraft (Tegra 3 Version)
Project Renaissance THD (June 2012) AMAZING PC LOOKING GAME!
Bladeslinger (Tegra 3 Version) ALSO AMAZING LOOKING but no release date
Dark Meadow (Tegra 3 Version) (Q1 2012)
And the rest such as:
Golden Arrow THD
Sonic 4 Epsiode 2 Tegra 3
Dark Kingdoms THD
Hamiltons Great Adventure Tegra 3
Eve to Greeen
Don't have official release dates
