One day rumors 'll kill me :D. As old owner of TF-101 I am very interested to see the performances gap between Tegra 2 to 3

Yes a little early as far as apps considering apps nowadays barely use dual core but had a 500 dollar price tag that is a pretty good deal. What bothers me more about the apse not dealing with quad core is the comp onen not really working well with each other. A phoner tablet can have the greatest components in the world but if there is a choke point then there's no use to have a lot of those good components. Like with this new quad core processor what good is it unless it has more ram and better ram. There is ever areas that need to match as well but the most important part I think is the battery technology which is 1 of them more major choke points in a smartphone.

I think its best to wait on a ICS tablet that may be released around the same time frame or slightly later. I'm pretty sure this wont get updated for at least a month or 2 after its release and I'm fairly confident and it would be logical to assume Google will release an ICS sandwich tablet soon to show off the unified UI and android version.

Actually if I remember right the reason for this quad core is to split up the power between the 2 there is 1 that handles the high power any other side clocked a little lower that saves battery life and run stuff to do not need a higher frequency processor. Just in case you can tell about my misspellings all of this is done through voice recognition on my bionic and there is a lot of background noise

The Tegra 3 isn't a big price bump if any at all. The chips are only about $20. That's not a reason for a price bump especially on a second gen which we should be seeing overall saving of parts--decreased price on capacitive touch screens and memory, the two main costs of tablets.

The nice thing about getting the Tegra 3 is, it will be a tablet/SoC that will have a pretty long life.

The price is actually closer to £530 as the listing is minus VAT - ouch!
