not really the nexus 7 should be the obvious winner.
aside from having a higher ppi which is good for reading and viewing it runs stock sndroid giving better performance and it runs 4.1.1...or shall i say 4.2?

I do think so... I like to think that Nexus is the bigger one of course!! But Acer is not that far behind!!

in the tablet game acer doesn't even cut it close buddy! Sure sammy, asus, etc can claim to compete but not acer

Are you sure? Cause I find it a bit confusing how to conect a microSD slot thad is not even present in the Nexus 7 to HDMI...
And if by chance you refer to the micro USB one, you need to have it MHL enabled to do that and the Nexus 7 doesn't have that (as far as I'm aware)

I have the same issue in my Nexus S and I couldn't find a way to connect it to the TV, if someone has done it, help would be appreciated.

Sorry, its Micro USB. and yes i go the facts wrong. although its displeasing to know that a Nexus tablet doesnt have MHL enabled port whereas some midrange android phone have em.

Google is by no means perfect, and not including MHL was a move to try to sell that horrible ball (I don't remember the name) to connect it to your TV. And yes, MHL is one of the things I really miss in the Nexus 7 and a reason to go for the ACER one...

You are right, but last time I checked one of the Wifi display adapters cost $50 or more, while a cable cost around 10. So at least is a nice to have.
