QWEST in a partnership with Verizon?
QWEST in a partnership with Verizon?
The Colorado based company has held talks with Verizon for “a possible wholesale deal” regarding resale of wireless services, in order to improve its sales strategy options. Since it doesn’t have a wireless unit, Qwest has been having a hard time compensating the decline in sales of traditional phone lines with wireless sales, like the industry's top phone service providers AT&T Inc and Verizon Communications Inc. Previously, QWEST had an arrangement for reselling Sprint’s wireless services, but that was seen as no longer adequate. If an agreement is reached  Verizon’s unlimited plans may help compensate for Quest’s wireline access line losses.

The picture depicts sprint as standing close to verizon.. and healthy looking. If the pic were accurate, sprint would have one leg, and a bad hunch from the government getting ready to shut it down. that and its horrid customer service and shrinking sales :D

I'm surprise to see that VZW after dealing with AMP'd is concidering any deals with MVNO's again.. And yes, Sprint sucks on the Customer Service department, but at least they don't play games as bad as Verizon does on billing and give you BS answers for mistakes they make all the time..

Freaken Sprint got there costumer service in Tukbuntu! lol! please! be Real! i admited we(verizon) are expensive but what? we get service 99% of the time unlike sprint. So would u rather have realiable service or a provider that makes u roam in ur own house lol

I agree with #10. Helio totally sticks the balls up VZW and Shpwint alltogether.

I honestly don't recall Verizon OR Sprint winning any awards in the customer service area lately.

I like how steviecrackberry actually tries to pretend like he knows anything about VZW. EVERY single article posted on this website mentioning VZW you will find crackboy talking crap about them. Haters are pathetic, be FOR something.

So let me make it clear, I work for VZW. Im a customer service rep in a store. I take care of peoples bull. I fix your bills and I give credits. I know for a fact were better then sprint. I live in a rural area and VZW is the only out there. I have done a Points of Interest serach within our tools and no one has the coverage where we do. Until then, kick rocks.

So at our meeting today the marketing guy said that these talks aren't for resale... it's for bundling...

You obviously don't read consumer reports or J.D. power and associates. VZW and T-mbl are both award winners and voted best overall for customer service.

I've been with Vzw for 9 years. They're customer service is GREAT! Never had problems with it.

U guys are clowns and really dont understand anything to do with the wireless business, first off its not 1998 and service is not an issue for anyone uinless ur a hermit out in the wooded mountain areas, all providers including sprint get service all over the place, and if they dont they have free roaming so im sure all you gurus know what that means, that means Sprint Customers use all of your dumb towers for free if they are not recieving service. As far as customer service goes, Sprint has issues with it that are being resolved< but the main issue was with illigitment customers calling in 12 times a day trying to get credits for issues they incurred knowingly, ultimatley making wait times longer and causing customer service to change the way they handle customers on an individual basis

#3 i agree with you. verizon and sprint bad customer service and there billing to. verizon always screwed up my cell phone bill.

verizon and sprint should just merge. Then maybe they would have one good network.
