way to go china..

14. Renew posted on 14 Feb 2012, 10:46 3

Yes, clearly as US economy will go down, China and Chinese companies will grow up.

35. Lucas777 posted on 14 Feb 2012, 20:50

and with that will come a higher living standard for chinese, with that more education, with that an understanding of politics, and voila a revolution against the republic (cough communism and corruption cough)

38. thinking posted on 15 Feb 2012, 03:06

China and Chinese companies were up even when the US economy was up. They need not do well only when the other is not.

"The ipad China tried to stop"...

2. Fallout09 posted on 14 Feb 2012, 09:22 4

The balls of a company to attempt to ban an innovating product such as the iPad form an entire country over a frivolous notion. Wow, what is this world coming to?

4. remixfa posted on 14 Feb 2012, 09:34 17

really? it has more evidence than apple's attempts to ban its competition. this is over actual trademark infringement that apple was contacted about years ago, not about a paper napkin drawing.

what comes around, goes around.

6. willardcw4 posted on 14 Feb 2012, 09:50 4

will be a while before Apple gets a significant blow... hopefully sooner than later.

Im pretty sure Fallout09 was being sarcastic.

3. Shade posted on 14 Feb 2012, 09:30 5

I love that companies are finally starting to fight back against Apple. Apple feels as if they are untouchable right now, it's good to see that companies are sick of Apple's ways.

9. PAPINYC posted on 14 Feb 2012, 10:03 3

'krApple's ways'; it's krApple, not Apple (learn to iSpell).

5. Fallout09 posted on 14 Feb 2012, 09:50 8

Remix.... You missed the sarcasm? I thought I was laying it on really thick. But seeing so many mindless “iZombies” that post here, I see how I could be confused as one. I will say that I have chosen a side and that I bleed GREEN through in through.

34. remixfa posted on 14 Feb 2012, 18:16 2

lol its hard to hear the sarchasm online. there are people here that actually believe that junk.

7. PAPINYC posted on 14 Feb 2012, 09:59 3

That's right Proview, give them [krApple] a taste of their own mediCiNe.
iBan and iVanquish them, relieve us of the miSery; off with their krAppy heads.

8. Droid_X_Doug posted on 14 Feb 2012, 10:00 2

One more court action and if Apple loses, they are f*cked. There will be a total ban on production of iPads in the PRC. Time to start thinking about another name. ILost by any chance?

10. PAPINYC posted on 14 Feb 2012, 10:08 2

iLike iDud better; has a disappointing climAx (or, anti-cliMactiC), much like like their technology.

11. Droid_X_Doug posted on 14 Feb 2012, 10:18 3

iWonder if it will be time for Apple to start exercising the muscles to write and sign a check with nine (!) zeroes after the positive integer? Time for Apple to see if bribery will iWork. Screw the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, this is about bidness!

The March 9th iPad 3 presser is starting to look doubtful.

25. Droid_X_Doug posted on 14 Feb 2012, 12:48 1

I wonder how fast Foxconn can ramp up production outside of the PRC? Don't they have a plant in Brazil that makes some small volume of iPads?

Time to fala Portugues....

this will make the ipad even bigger in China.. as people will go out of their ways to get one.. the ipad will be more desirable..increasing the profits for Apple...what doesn't kill you . makes you stronger...

17. remixfa posted on 14 Feb 2012, 11:49 6

what they cant have

36. bayusuputra posted on 15 Feb 2012, 00:35 1

aahh, yeah, no wonder the smarter people bought other tablets than iPad, they want something they can't have in the iPad.. don't need to ask me, you will be delusional if you ask what are the things iPad doesn't have that the competitors have..

thank you for reminding that we want what we can't have.. this still applies to rational customers, too, my friend..

29. dreammixer (banned) posted on 14 Feb 2012, 13:41 1

Aah your ignorance of claiming all Chinese are poor. Lots of Chinese are buying Apple products and their economy is in better shape than the US.

30. remixfa posted on 14 Feb 2012, 13:50 4

lol. dude what we call poor in America, the Chinese call upper class. their poor don't have cars, electricity, cell phones, cable, or anything. many don't even have electricity. don't confuse the rise of China's economy with their people doing well on a large scale.
freeloaders in America chant that they are the 99% while getting government assistance and free junk. in china the 99% are starving and aactually poor. if it wasn't so bad they wouldn't put up with the working conditions that they do to make sure their families can put a little rice on the table.

foxconn workers average over 100 hrs a month in overtime ,work 36 hour shifts ,and yet average 60 a month in pay.

get real dude.

32. dreammixer (banned) posted on 14 Feb 2012, 15:08 1

You're very ignorant

39. atheisticemetic posted on 15 Feb 2012, 08:24 1

no sir it is you who is ignorant...they have a massive population of poor people. They would feel blessed to be "American poor"

it is the American who is ignorant and arrogant to be the "99%"

41. remixfa posted on 15 Feb 2012, 22:59

exactly.

if dreammixer thinks im so ignorant, i bet 100 bux, he cant find 10 reasons the middle class in china are better off than the poor system suckers in america with all their benefits.

22. PAPINYC posted on 14 Feb 2012, 12:02 1

The Chinese are not stupid people, they are very intelligent.

In fact, they will build their own tablet and call it ....
aRealPad.

24. Droid_X_Doug posted on 14 Feb 2012, 12:46 1

No, Proview will build it and call it an... iPad

26. speckledapple posted on 14 Feb 2012, 13:14

This is silly for many reasons. However, the most important one being that this company regardless of how big they are have already won a case about the name. Why would the company not just settle with Apple for an unspecified amount for use of their name in China. That way this company, which does not even use the name actively, can get paid while Apple can also retain their products. Granted I am not a champion of Apple and their other practices they engage in against other companies but in this instance it seems that logic does not exist. it has already been proven, why not take the check for a name they do not even use and move on. Its a waste of court time and this is why things in this world are so screwed.

37. bayusuputra posted on 15 Feb 2012, 00:46 1

the last sentence, tell that to apple.. i won;t be surprised if they will be the world's most hated company.. all good things come to an end.. remember merryl-lynch, the same thing is not impossible to happen to apple.. if there is one company that can sustain the US economy better than apple, i am really sure that apple won't be able to be a patent troll anymore, the US govt backed them up cus they provide too many economical support for the US govt.. this is why they are being awarded with so many patents so that they won't go bust and contribute to the economy.. yeah, it's actually all about money and conspiracy.. nothing new..

27. dreammixer (banned) posted on 14 Feb 2012, 13:23

iPad and Apple products will continue to flourish. Soon China will be Apple's biggest market. These bans never take effect. Too much money to be made.

40. Johnny_Mnemonic posted on 15 Feb 2012, 19:20

Apple lost a case to Proview Technology (Shenzhen) in a Shenzhen court in southern China late last year, when the court agreed that Proview owned the iPad trademark. Sorry Apple if you win its going to cost you billions. Jaja

28. tward291 posted on 14 Feb 2012, 13:33 1

they will ban apple products and another company will make generic ipads and so on that work just as good as the reall thing. so in the end china will win no money lost for china that is
