Production of Full HD AMOLED displays for the Samsung Galaxy S IV to be at full swing by the end of the month

0. phoneArena 06 Feb 2013, 02:17 posted on

If we had to guess one unique feature that will be exclusive to the upcoming Galaxy S IV, or whatever Samsung decides to name it, Android leader, it will be the new type of AMOLED display we saw at CES - large, without a PenTile pixel matrix and with resolution matching the best of LCDs, like the Full HD 5-inchers that will be flooding the high-end range of the market this year...

Until you take a look at the TFT screen, which is so not pretty.

I rather had not-so-pretty screen than ugly burn-in on my screen.

I don't know how did you come up with this when you haven't even seen other phones. If you're talking about now, then Xperia Z is the best, but we still have MWC 2013 and other independent announcements like the s4...

If only Sony had AMOLED screens, then there wouldn't be any doubt.
I rather have a 720p AMOLED than FHD LCD.

At the moment OLED based screens has more disadvantages than advantages and those disadvantages are pretty essential. I also choose LCD!

I've been a sucker for Super AMOLED ever since I got my old Galaxy S. I'd really like to see how it looks like in FHD on a small screen. I'd like to see one on a 10" tab too.

To be honest:
- If you wanna a top fashionable phone: Xperia Z
- If you wanna a top handy and portable phone: iPhone 5
- If you wanna a "smartest" device with many interesting features cannot be seen on other devices: Note 2
