It’s kind of crazy that even after a month from its debut customers are still waiting to purchase the ipad2 in masses. I believe the back order on Apples website is still a 3-4 week wait. I think this is more of a result in the products popularity rather than its limitations.

Bill gates is just mad that he is lossing more-and-more market share everyday and his team can't come up with a new and inovative concept on their own.

Microsoft is a large shareholder of apple; I don't think Bill Gates minds their success, especially since he's taken himself out of the day-to-day ops at Microsoft

If Apple is having supplier problems, what about the rest of the potential competitors? The PlayBook was apparently delayed a month due to component availability. I wonder about the others?

See, I think the PlayBook could have benefited from delays because it isn't ready on the software side either...

Yeah, I have to agree with you about the PlayBook software being too little too soon. I have gone into BestBuy on 2 separate occasions to check out the PlayBook and each time I leave feeling the PlayBook is not yet ready for prime time.

Samsung must stop selling components to Apple until Apple drop all lawsuits against Samsung.

This is a typical practice for businesses. Also, if you read the news this morning Samsung is now countersuing Apple.

Only one upset by this news is fanboys eager to pump out more cash to apple for having a camera in this 'new' ipad. make sure you smile continually fanboys when holding the device and using facetime, after all apple is watching and photographing you,and you want to appease your gods don't ye.

How does this all quality problems stop apple producing more ipad 2? Afterall a poor quality antenna didn't stop them pumping out iphone 4s into their fans hungry gobs

this is going to be their ongoing excuse for lack of sales.

Lack of sales wouldn't create a month long back order genius. What's Motorola's excuse for lack of sales.

Shitty products? I'd buy HTC far before I'd purchase Motorola...

silly question... if you where to choose any android manufacturer... witch one would you go for? I Like moto so far but haven't tried Samsung yet

ive had moto, htc, and sammy. my vibrant/galaxyS is the best phone ever.. by far. They lost a few steps in customer support which they are trying to make up, but at least they were smart enough to keep the bootloader and everything else unlocked creating one hell of a mod community. XDA is leagues ahead of stock... for any phone. :)

Lack of product to sell is going to be an excuse for lower sales than they could have had. Tim Cook is already laying the groundwork for using that excuse....

two things will happen here, they either all the brain dead fanboys attention automatically will deflect to the iphone 5 over lack of ifad 2s or else apple will massively up their pr and advertising techniques and sucker those drones into buying the iphone 5 ,after all the ads will convince them it will change everything again again and again with a 8 mp camera
