Yea what a self-righteous one I am. Posting valid comments in articles relating to the phone I like. Maybe you should stay away from iPhone articles if you have such a problem. Maybe I'll troll gaydroid articles and call you a fanboy.

I haven't received mine yet, but the only thing that could possibly make me return it is if the signal thing is that bad. But I think all I have to do is keep my fingers away from that little slit at the bottom left hand side of the phone. Other than that there's really nothing else.

How can you claim it to be the best phone you have ever had when the only phones you have ever owned are crapple phones?

if all the smartphones you owned in your life were a 3G, a 3Gs and a 4 then obviously he can claim the 4 is the best he had in his life... BTW, grow up... what, are you 13? didn't know that you are not alone in the world and that somebody else may disagree with you?

I guess your all going to have to wait for iPhone 4"s" to get a phone with out bugs. It's ok though apple knows you'll buy it. Droid FTW

You really think its possible that these phones were shipped so fast from the factory at the screen assembly station that the residue didn't dry? Were they assembled yesterday or something? I design assembly equipment and there is no way they would ever let us box up a device before the glue had dried or it had been tested/inspected. RIDICULOUS. If apple is really boxing and shipping these units for immediate purchase with residue still wet and leaking without testing to make sure it dissolved or dried, someone needs to be fired

5 gig is only on mobile broadband not limited on a smart phone. Plus last i checked At&t has the 5 gig on mobile broadband too... Nice try E.N.

Correct and no official.information has been released regarding limited data anyways, these guys need to quit shadowing there proven garbage with speculated trash talk. They're obviously butt hurt, but hey they can video chat with their front facing camera, and they'll all look like they have shit on their face! Lmao...that what Steve Jobs really wanted , was to prove that people who buy his product are shit faces...love it.

maybe you could show some unbiased opinions at some point and state that Crapple messed up their launch. If this was the DROID X you would be laughing at everyone and stating how your cripple fruit phone is superior to all.

I admit my Incredible has a battery flaw, but my phone wasnt hyped by the heavons as the greates thing since sliced bread. Mentioning a flaw isnt the only thing, its pointing out to everyone DAILY how much better the iPhone is than every other phone, Its slandering every competetive phone that released as the iPhone killer, while saying "Nice try Verizon" Its never about the issues with the phones its about livingup to the expectation that the company and the fan base set. If all you Apple nerds didnt talk so much crap about how noone is as cool as you, there wouldnt be competetive chatter... when you make the bed be prepared to lay in it. And apple is about to have a GIANT sleep over.

Haha all these comments are pathetic. Honestly, let the Android fanboys have their way by posting comments on Apple products. They can call Apple's products crap all that they want. But, as every other website has concluded, the iOS is by far better than the Android, coming from a person currently on an Nexus One. I've played with both systems, and after using the new iOS, by far blows Android 2.2 Froyo away. The experience and features are so much more sophisticated and polished compared to what Google has, especially with the quality of the applications offered for the iPhone, iPod & iPad. I'm gonna stick to my N1 because I like it enough that I don't feel the need to switch, but I will say from my own experience, Apple wins for now.

I've heard this is caused by one of the elements used to ensemble the phone (Silano Z-6011). It's said that it didn't complete the evaporation process because of the production acceleration to deliver the devices. This process is gonna complete anyway and the dots will disappear. This is what the text said "Apple is using a bonding agent called Organofunctional Silane Z-6011 to bond the layers of glass. Apparently, Apple (or more likely Foxconn) is shipping these products so quickly that the evaporation process is not complete. However, after one or two days of use, especially with the screen on, will complete the evaporation process and the yellow “blotches” will disappear." Is that true? we will discover it within a couple of days I guess. It may be hard to make so many iPhones FONT:http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2010/06/24/will-the-iphone-4s-yellow-displays-cure-themselves/?utm_s ource=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+TheBoyGeniusReport+%28Boy+Genius+Report%29

People. Even if the yellow spots go away over time, I seriously doubt that the reception problem will. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cX5X5R34eWc This is a very serious issue. If this isn't somehow solved - the iPhone 4 is a dead brick. I nevertheless ask you to be patient, and avoid all those "Haha apple screwed up, iPhone sux" Comments for now. Lets all hope the the fate of the iPhone 4 won't be like the one of the Nexus one.. UPDATE: The problem appears to be partly elevated when using a skinhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1qvNRFZ4Ik&NR=1 I say partly because reportedly the skin still blocks some of the signal - but at least it allows some reception.

I came through a spot today where I've always lost service everyday in my commute to work with my 3GS and I kept a solid 2 bars all the way through on the phone with my Iphone 4

Yes, the phone reception is way better than the 3Gs as long as you don't hold it from the antenna, they say

You would think, after 3 generations and all this time they had to use the "beta" version found earlier, that they would have found this problem while testing it...I understand the yellow thing, but wasn't the Keynote talking about the antenna being greatly improved with the new design? Hm, its only been...less than 24 hours, so I'd give it at least a week or two before concluding things.

the beta version was stupidly tested with a 3gs lookalike case on it so they would have never have know the difference... what stupid idiots they are at apple... its all because the evo is so bad ass... they had to try to steal its fame, and it may have now ruined them for ever...
