Problems in Android 4.2 silence Google Voice

For Android 4.2 users, trying to send a text message using Google Voice results in the app crashing as soon as you try to type in the recipient's name; a software update should solve the problem and in the meantime, you might want to delay updating your Samsung GALAXY Nexus to the latest Android OS build...

Typing the name? Why would you type the recipients name if you're using Google Now? Just say, " Text John Doe 'I'm going to be late.'"

When you see that little box pop up hit the Report button and take the time out to tell them the issue and other relevant info.

I can see this issue getting fixed quickly either through Google or some crafty coder at XDA and the like. It's good to have an open platform.

I'm a GNexer, and *full time* Google Voice user for several years. I don't even know my real phone number.I *hope* this will shine some light on Google Voice and get them to update the app (last update Mar 22, 2012).
