whatever you do Nokia, you will not be successful in the USA since your OS choice.
WP7 and other Windows OSes are dying in everywhere!!

WP7 is the best. I have had 7 Android phones and they are rubbish in comparison.

There's no problem with WP7, their problem is marketing. WP7 is a great OS, and it's app support is growing exponentially, they just need to do a better job of marketing to let everyone know what this OS is capable of.

It's hard because their market is the same as the iPhone and people who have the iPhone like their phone so they don't bother trying new ones. So Its hard to gain traction in the market, however I believe over time they will slowly grow.

I would agree if instead of "OS choice" you would of said "carrier choice."

Not really mate, Windows Phone aim for the same market as iPhone users, but the majority of that market is already taken by people who own the iPhone. The high satisfactory rate means they don't want to try any other phone, so they won't even try it.
Windows phone is extremely smooth, reliable and well designed. I have had a HTC Windows Phone since Windows first announced their new OS and still no sign of lag, something you won't ever hear on Android.

its close to 2 years now in the market. Still with yesterdays specs and options. Camera is one of Nokia's best selling point. Nothing here. Same as any other wp.

Yesterday's specs? You mean the single-core processor? That's just ignorance if you think that matters. Android needs dual core processors because it's like a big Ford Crown Victoria and can go fast only with a huge engine. WP7 is a Porsche with it's small flat 6-cylinder and smokes the Crown Vic! It's not about specs, it's about real-world performance.

wp7 has a wildly growing app/ game marketplaced

Wildly growing useless apps. Games are mostly ports. Yawn!

Whatever Android has, it works for them and its selling well, very well! And the companies enjoy building on new and innovative technology like dual and quad cores! Android keep pushing the limit on technology. Apple doing the same. WP? Don't know yet. Performance, good Android and Apple sales prove it all.

I like WP but MS need to compete at the same level as Android and Apple with today's technology. I don't think you wanna buy a product of old tech selling at the current competitive price.

@lubba, five posts??!!!! You're s**tting all over yourself trying to put down WP7. LOL! Most of the things you say are rubbish! LOL! I bought a WP7 Radar almost a month ago to add to my Android and was surprised how elegant, smooth, powerful, intuitive the OS is!!! It compares quite well with Android. I'm not familiar with iOS but I bet it compares just as well with it too!

Well, well, well... so, an official announcement that Nokia's Lumia 900 Windows Phone is coming to AT&T is imminent, is it? Well, what a strange coincidence it is, then, that an official announcement of Nokia's potential takeover by Microsoft is also supposedly imminent...
Truly bad timing...

I understand that Elop is denying the "rumors" vehemently on this one, but I don't trust him further than I can throw him... and seeings I already have one gimpy arm, that isn't very far at all.
