With roughly 16,000 apps to choose from currently, mobile analytics firm Flurry predicts the number to grow to as much as 150,000 by the end of next year...

Umm, I think it's too late considering what people have been saying about the android store already. "I rarely see an app on my moto Droid that is a clone of something else, other than the ringtone apps and wallpaper apps ect" -haste_the_day and from what I hear from Android users, more fart apps are starting to appear. So you guys are loosing things to criticize on the app store. IMO the Android Market is trying to be the app store. But Android is more open, so expect more of that.

Maybe. But if you weren't really satisfied with the application selection, I'm pretty sure you'd say the same thing.
