Porting Android apps to the BlackBerry PlayBook to be a piece of cake

As it was rumored earlier, it turns out that the QNX OS found on the upcoming BlackBerry PlayBook will be more than compatible with the apps, developed for Android. Developers will simply have to "repackage code sign and submit" their apps for approval...

High five to whoever thought of that at blackberry. Take everything thats still good about a blackberry and give it a huge jump by allowing the worlds fastest growing app store to be compatable with it as well as its own apps.

Just a bit confuddled here... shouldn't it be the RIM PlayBook, not Blackberry PlayBook? Isn't Blackberry a seperate OS than QNX?

I could be wrong, but if I'm not I expect a little more out of journalists and editors.
