Pocket updates apps with new Send to Friends feature
Pocket is one of the best options for saving articles, videos, etc for later, and it has just gotten a pretty nice update. The team at Pocket has been closely studying how people tend to use the app, and especially the sharing features, and the results of that has led to a newly designed share menu, and a really nice new feature: Send to Friends.

It seems that when looking at how users tended to share things via Pocket, it turned out that users shared items via e-mail "more than twice as often" as sharing to a social network. With that in mind, Pocket has added Send to Friends, which allows items that are shared via e-mail to automatically sync to your friends' Pocket. Additionally, the share menu has been redesigned to have more of a visual pop, and be easier to get to the sharing option you want most. The share menu also is now dynamic: it will change based on what networks you share to most, and add quick links to friends that you share with most often.

Instant Sync has been improved to work with multiple devices, and just like the new update to Chrome, Pocket now does automatic fullscreen in articles by hiding the toolbar as you scroll down. Of course, there are also the usual bug fixes and performance updates.

If you want to get the update, or get started with Pocket, it's available for free in the iTunes App Store and Google Play.
