One of the better podcast apps for Android just got a major update. Pocket Casts has been updated to version 4.0 and with the update it got a complete UI overhaul, but unfortunately, the app also lost some features in the process. So, while the update is great, it may not be the choice for you, if you're looking for some more advanced features...

It's a damn shame that they don't have Google Listen around anymore

The option of auto delete the episodes still is there.

so is the ability to look through and download old episodes, and so is automatic download but it is a little more setup. auto delete is still there

I used to use Pocket Cast. Until they pulled their app from Amazon app store. Then the Amazon app store stopped working for me. Some error about account autherzation. So I switched to Beyod Pod. MUCH better. Plus most of the features are free.
