Plex for Android updated with app shortcuts and a bucketload of fixes
The newest update for one of the popular media organizers for mobile devices, Plex, adds a couple of new features and addresses lots of issues. Developer Plex announced the update is pushed in stages, so some of these new features may take a day or two before they become available on Android devices.

If you're using Plex for Android, you'll be pleased to know the application now features support for “Original” quality when syncing music. Also, the developers have added the option to disable discovery feature of AirPlay players on the network.

As the title says, those who own Android devices running Android 7.1 Nougat will now be able to take advantage of app shortcuts. ARM64v8a support has been implemented as well, along with the option to display media flags for locally synced content.

The folks over at Plex claim they have fixed a random crash during long sync operations and addressed an issue with the "friends list" incorrectly reporting no friends when offline. Another crash when enabling Camera Upload after First Run Wizard should be fixed too.

A couple of other bug fixes are part of the update as well, but they are related to Android TV. You can find all about them by accessing the source link below.
