"Play More" - LG V20 will be announced on September 6 in San Francisco

It's official - LG will be unveiling the LG V20 on September 6, 2016, in San Francisco. 

This was revealed by a playful teaser, which features a toy book that opens to a three-dimensional street, with the "Play More" slogan intertwined into the image. We have been hearing various rumors that a follow-up to last year's intriguing dual-camera, dual-display LG V20 is in the works, but we had heard nothing specific up until this point. It looks that LG will be showing is its next attempt to capture people's minds and wallets during this year's IFA, though the announcement will obviously not take place in Berlin, where the trade show is traditionally hosted. 

Word on the street is that the V20 will be among the first phones to sport Android Nougat, which will become officially-official by summer's end. Specs-wise, the phone could come with a smaller 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1080 by 1920 pixels, a Snapdragon 820 chip, either 3 or 4 gigs of RAM, as well as 32GB and 64GB storage versions with a memory expansion slot. 

In the rear, there might be 4,000mAh battery and a 20MP camera, while the selfie one could be an 8MP snapper. No word on a dual-selfie camera setup, and we're also not sure if the device will sport an auxiliary display setup either. We guess we'll learn come September 6.
