The gigantic Samsung Galaxy Note with its 5.3-inch display might sound like a monster truck among smartphones that will only scare the ladies, but its sales have been huge…

I'd say no, we don't need that much barbie-ism. Because I believe that women who are interested in phones like the same things that men do - screen, audio and video player and other hardware and software features, not color. And those who are not interested in phones would just go and buy whatever they come across, which is more likely to be a feature phone or iPhone than a Note.
Still, Samsung keeps offering pink versions of its most successful models, which means there is a market for them. Considering Samsung's recent results, these guys know a thing or two about selling phones.

You obviously don't date women as, they will accessorize ANYTHING to the max.
And, it's ten-fold if pink is their favorite colour.
Trust me, if your iDud came in Barbie Pink, it would be just as popular as the Martha Stewart White™ iPhone all the Shēē₱ go baa-baaa over.

I'm a happy Note owner. And I'm a girl.
Why did I buy my Galaxy Note? The Note has a beautiful screen and a faster processor than the Galaxy S2. And I HATE iPhones.
I love that the Note is being offerred in pink and can't wait to get it!!! Of course, if it was being offerred in blue or green or purple I would want it too. I (like many females) just like to have variety in color choice for my electronic devices without having to put stupid stickers on them. I am sooooo sick of black only phones.
As for the comment from phone arena about the size..... I keep my Note in my front pocket. It does stick out a bit, but that doesn't bother me. And if I'm wearing something with small pockets or no pockets at all, I just carry it in my hand, as I carry my keys and wallet. (which also doesn't fit in my pocket)

I kinda prefer the Pink Lumia 800 kind of pink. Anyway, I don't really mind pink phones, or any color phone for the matter of fact. As long as they're not annoying like Apple who took friggin half a year to change the color and release it as if it's a whole new model.
