0. phoneArena 27 Jan 2013, 08:41 posted on

A French website is displaying a photograph that it claims contains images of parts destined for the Apple iPhone 5S and Apple iPhone 6; the images are of loudspeaker modules for the what will probably be the next two versions of the iconic smartphone and were obtained from a source who has a connection to an Apple supplier...

It's fast becoming a household name cuz not only is it a great device, but Sammy has learned to market their products by taking a page from apple. Remember the old droid commercials that only focused on specs, and never showed u what the device could do from a practicality standpoint. Well apples commercials were, and still r designed to show how practical the device can b n everyday life. This is what captures the mainstream consumers attention. And if the mainstream consumer isn't interested in your product it will never sell as well, i.e. the nexus 1. It never caught on with the general consumer base, only the tech sector which of course wayyy smaller. Samsung commercials show how useful the note can b n everyday life and that catches the base that matters most. The general consumer. This is y apple has always marketed their products to the general public and u never see apple commercials dwell on specs, the average consumer doesn't know quad core, linux, unix, ram, or internal storage from a hole n the wall. Sammy's learned from apple over the years n a number of areas, and now they're out innovating apple. Notice the note commercials don't mention specs, just useful features.

Considering it is a whole new subcategory of wireless device and many other manufacturers are jumping on board the phablet train, I would say it IS top selling in it's category and doing very well for a new genre. Wrong as usual lol

You are clearly an iSheep, looking at all your posts.. always negative about android and sooo positive about iPhone.

The note 2 sold 5 million units the first two months! and Samsung predicts it will sell around 20 million.. that's very good for a nische product, now go hide in that cave of yours.

Dude I couldn't care less what u think or have to say about me. And I will hide no where, I don't give a crap, is****, droider who cares Man U r as I am a friggin consumer. U walk n and buy android, I walk n and buy both android and iOS. At the end of the day who cares as long as it works for u. Respond to this how u wish, but just remember at the end of the day I don't care and no one else does either.

5 million is an old number now. That number was given in November, just two months after release. A month later in December, Samsung sold 1 million Note II's in South Korea alone. Now it's January and demand is still high for the Note II and GS3, so sales for the Note II are closer to 10 million. Granted, it's still nowhere near as high as the demand for the GS3 or iPhone, it's still a respectable number given the fact that nearly every Apple fan said the Note series would flop.

Not this apple fan. This one gives credit where credit is due. This apple fan also feels its time for apple to do what they're starting to do...step it up

I didn't say give credit, I said think it would flop. When the original Note came out, did you think it would be where it was right now? I sure didn't, and I wasn't even an Apple fan.

You are wrong about the ipad mini. It is not a 7 inch tablet. Its a 8 inch tablet and the form factor works way better but whatever.
The iphone 5 wasn't really made to compete with the s3. It still feels like a small device and for apple and many others it still is the perfect size.
And about the phablet category, where did you hear that?
Even if they said all those things, which they did except probably the phablet, it still doesn't mean they can't change products and still make them fit in the same category.
The 7 inch was said to be failure but apple adapted and was successful.
The 4inch screen on the iphone is still perfect for most hands.
Damn this website is full of fandroids on rage about apple for stupid reasons.
I tend to stay away from reading comments because of people like you.
As an android fan i feel sick and i just hope people dont see me like you are.

Yeah, 7.9 is totally not 7inches, my point is they made a smaller tablet because the smaller tablets posed a threat and it was popular, even after Steve Jobs himself said that 9.7 inch was the perfect size and anything else is doomed to fail. Apple has been well known to start markets, but recently, it just seems like their bending to the current market which Android OEMs set.

If it wasn't meant to compete then why increase it since 3.5 inch is the "ideal size" for one handed use? What all iPhone users hands just suddenly grew larger so they had to increase it?

The fact that Apple fans are making fake renders of XL iPhones just show that there's a demand for it. And following Apple's patterns of late, if there's a demand, they wouldn't even stop to question and just follow the trend.

I see so many errors in that logic

1. Apple talked about smaller tablets in general Samsung had already shipped a 8' device apple just saw how much android tablets have grown to nearly be the mayor tablet player

2. 7' was not successful Because Apple adapted it. Apple adapted it because it was successful. Also the iPad mini is not a pocketable ad the competition.

Apple is simply being overwhelmed by competition and they have simply run out of things to do anymore...

If that so they have watch their mouth and use the word like "adapt" or "accept" than "invent" or "perfect".

That disgusts people like me the most

OMG....... iPhone parts; this is the best story this weekend. Does anyone know what the new box will look like? Are they going to package the phone the same way as they've done in the past? What's the inside of the envelope where the documents are packaged going to look like, ANYONE know??

My favorite part of this very informative news piece is the rendering of the new "iPhone mYth".... ♡ it!!

Don't know about demolish...but I thank android for putting pressure on the rest to reinvent what they put out & increase the level frequent releases. A 4.8" iPhone would be right up my alley as well as NFC. These are two key features that I miss in my iPhone now.
