Pick up the Nokia Lumia 1520 from Amazon for $49.99 with a two-year pact

0. phoneArena 28 Dec 2013, 13:12 posted on

The Nokia Lumia 1520 is the top of the line flagship Windows Phone 8 model. Originally priced at $199.99 with a two-year contract, Amazon has the phone on sale for just $49.99 with your signature on the dotted line. Thanks to the GDR3 update, this model has the same specs that you would find on a top-shelf Android handset, including the 1080 x 1920 resolution on its 6 inch screen...

The article is for the who prefer the 1520..
Wireless charging, 20mp Ziess purview camera with real OIS, and Raw image support, and lossless zoom, 6" 1080p screen with clearblack, super sensitive touch, and assertive technology, 4 High Amplitude Audio Rich Recording mics with directional audio capturing. 2.2ghz quad core with 2gb of ram, 3400mah battery, Office, XBM, XBL, OneNote, SkyDrive, IE10, and the most FB integration built in. Nokias attention to detail, and superior design, aesthetics, and quality compared to, say, Samsung.. The tons of great Nokia apps, and support.. Nokia Camera❕.. Much more...

or, the same old typical, cookie cutter, fake leather boring old Note... But, if that's what you like who am I to argue with you..

Well, the 1520 doesn't have a pen.

Uh, you can post a similar list with the note 3 if you want, though why bother? Samsung just came out with the fake leather look so how is it cookie cutter and old?

One note, skydrive, xbox stuff isn't a wp8 exclusive either with MS releasing it on android.

But whatever. Couldn't nokia have released this in a smaller ff? Sheesh.

What if I say you Note 3 has everything and more you listed? Not to mention that it´s much more compact and comes with useful functions thanks to S-pen.

1st price drop. Due to poor demand.

Does that make it less of a phone? Demand and quality have little to do with one another. Nice fanboy comment though.

Any phone over 5 or 5.5 inches (that's not what she said lol) is way too big for a phone for most people.
If you need bigger consider a tablet or a laptop.

You can't speak for everyone. If big phones suck so much why bother making them? Why are there 3 generations of the Samsung Note with everyone (but Apple) trying to cash in? It's fine to stick with a small phone but don't go around telling people what they need.

I might have missed it, but what's onboard storage of your model, 16 or 32?

BTW, enjoy your new weapon.

Android/Nexi guy.

The AT&T version is 16 GB, with expandable storage.

The international version is 32GB

Thanks, my bud wants one badly, he's just not sure which way to jump yet.
I think this model is his best bet.

I got mine to. But doesn't the size seem to get smaller as you get used to it.. It's like no big deal anymore.. The bad thing is that it would suck to use anything smaller now, and at times I have already wished my screen was bigger.. Having the best Phablet has spoiled me..

I've only had it for two days so I'm sure it will become normal after a few days. The handset feels nice in my hand.
