Its a fake render. Nokia uses Clear Black Technology so there is no reason for the grey background.

Microsoft needs to work harder to bring a WP Device with a Quad-Core and 1080 Display to do any real damage to Android cause they need better Hardware...................................... and iPhone still sucks ASS!

VZW and Nokia should have released this earlier.. It would have competed better and have greater relevance before the new wave of devices this year (S IV, etc)

folks information from a verge source says that the above image is indeed the Verizon bond Nokia 928 and it will still be made with a Poly carbonate case but it will thinner than the Nokia 920's case.Nokia will bring out new Aluminum bodied Smart phones this year as for a Nokia windows smart phone with a 1080 Hd screen and Quad core is concerned it may come someday but Nokia is more interested in selling smart phones people can afford to buy than selling high tech smart phones Nokia knows will cost People more to buy I think Nokia should make a Nokia smart phone with quad core CPU's and a 1080 HD screen for those who can afford it but Nokia likes to sell large volumes of phones and they cannot do that selling high tech expensive smart phones people cannot afford to buy

"A recent leaked screenshot of Verizon's inventory data showed that the Nokia Lumia 928 is coming in four different colors including Blue, Red, White and Cyan." - Did you mean it's coming in four more colors for a total of 5 to choose from, or is that black phone up there what they're considering to be cyan???
[I thought some Apple and Android fans were pretty bad, but going by a few responses up above, Nokia fans are stooping to a new level of immaturity. Stay classy internets.]

"Friday evening, evleaks tweeted a picture of what allegedly is the Nokia Lumia 928, previously known as the Nokia Laser. This device is supposed to be the Verizon version of the flagship Nokia Lumia 920 but replaces the instantly identifiable polycarbonate body of the latter handset, with a sleeker aluminum body."
No, still plastic. The verge contacted Nokia, and they said it has a "Thinner polycarbonate" body and are reserving aluminum for its future Lumia devices (like the EOS and Catwalk).

Honestly, 720p resolution on a 4.5 inch display is more than enough. WP doesn't need quad-core processors to run smoothly. Heck, it ran very smoothly even on a single core processor (which unfortunately Android can't). Many of the top apps are slowly making their way to WP. Plus the camera and the Xenon flash are great add-ons and you have the great Nokia build quality and there you have a great flagship. Lets see what people will say about the iPhone 5S when it will have the same resolution as the iPhone 5 which is not even 720p.

I agree with people that think Nokia smart phones should not be made so big you can not use it with one hand. i do believe in a 8 inch 16 by 9 tablet with a smart phone within it that is sold with a matching blue tooth headset to use the built in smart phone because lets face it holding a 5 inch smart phone to you head is awkward but using a blue tooth headset with a SUPER SIZED SMART PHONE makes damn good sense. you have a tablet and smart phone via a blue toth headset I Suggest that Smart phone OEM'S that decide to make a 5 inch plus smart phone sell it with a matching blue tooth headset because it is the best way to use SUPER SIZED SMART PHONES
