Phones 4U lands a deal for the LG Optimus 3D with a white paint job

Apparently, Phones 4u has managed to land a deal with LG to offer the LG Optimus 3D covered in that oozing color of white in the UK only. Granted that we now find a page strictly for the white LG Optimus 3D that boasts all of its specs...

I keep wondering if face plates are going to come back into popularity. That way you can have whatever color phone you want...but it would kind of eliminate cases for some folks...

I agree; one of the things I loved most about my first phone (Nokia 6590?)was its interchangeable faceplates. Plus, not only was it good for customization, if it got scratched/cracked, you just switch out the plate. Granted the best ones were OEM branded/licensed, as I remember some mall kiosks offering plates which were obviously not made to fit the phones correctly

why don't you just buy a couple of different protective cases?
you may feel bulky but still gives you some new feelings.

I always keep a case on my phone. I don't mind them at all. But there are some folks out there that absolutely hate cases...even the thinnest cases. Or they want their phone to just be a certain color. Skins work to some extent, but if you damage a skin, chances are you also damage your phone. Like Box said above, if you crack a face plate, you just buy a new one and your phone is still a phone without a case on it.

The white one will be 20% faster than the black one.
Seriously though, if the biggest thing holding you back about buying a smart phone is its color, then you deserve a crummy feature phone. You are the same person that picks the prettiest or funniest named horse to win the race. Just give me a powerful device with a great UI and ways to make me more productive (and a great way to waste time).

The biggest thing holding me back from buying this smartphone would have to be the "LG" logo on it.... :-p

how do you take 3-D photos in Portrait mode, if the Cameras are vertical?
