The LG VX8000 was the first Verizon phone to feature a 1.3MP camera with CCD image sensor, dual TFT displays with 262K color support, stereo speakers and external music controls. Life was good in 2005...

I loved this phone!!!! I had it for about 1 yr. It is the best and favorite feature phone that I ever had! I let a friend borrow it and it has since died. I had to use an env2 for a few weeks till I upgraded to my DROID and wished I still had my 8000! Thanks for chance to reminisce!

What a great phone it was. For a feature phone, the only thing it was lacking was some sort of memory card slot. I carried it for 3 years and switched to an enV only because of the qwerty. I really miss the phone, ringer was loud, camera was good great, calls sounded loud and clear. The ability to read texts on the outside display was my favorite feature. I haven't seen another phone on the market that is any better at what it was designed for than the VX8000.

I pretty much agree with you which is kinda sad since that phone is ancient now.

I loved the 8100. It was the best out of ALL of the series of phones. New and old. Before and After.
