Great to see the galaxy s2 as best phone, although harsh to say the iphone 4s is an awful attempt at an upgrade and Steve Jobs would not have been person of the year if he hadn't passed away as his apple influence this year was less than minimal

less than minimal? he was the ceo.. how is that less than minimal?

Well he was absent through illness for a lot of the year and any influence he may have actually had 'upgrading' the iphone 4 to the iphone 4s clearly mustn't have been much as its the exact same phone.

Hold on, he did alot this year with the 4S. Well if we're talking about Apple only of corse. :) low expectations, but over hype.

Hmm... you mean adding a new rear view camera and a new processor to a year and a half old phone and charging the same price as it was last year when it was released is doing allot? Oh and how could I forget that great Siri software that was added that has gone down twice last month. Yeah I guess it is allot of getting over on his faithful customers.

I think the fact that he passed away makes him a great choice. People seem to get more attention after they die. Ironic though.

Yeap like you, since he died you know who steve jobs is, before he passed away, you didn't even know the CEO of apple.
No just kidding.

You'd be surprised how many apple 'fans' don't know who steve jobs is!

Who doesn't know who Steve Jobs is? Even my grandparents know who he is.

The Asus slider is really underrated! I love the way it is.. compared to the Transformer though there may be many "pros" to the Transformer I still like the Slider significantly better nonetheless for its design(beautiful)!

Steve Jobs was a douchebag.
"Apple has single-handedly reshaped the music, computing and wireless industries. "
Yeah, they overcharged everything and set a precedent that allowed vendors to gouge their customers.
Thanks a lot, Steve.
And while the galaxy S II is a great phone, it's no real surprise that the winning percentage of votes bears an extremely close resemblance to android's market share.
