PhoneArena Awards 2012: Worst Tablet

0. phoneArena 12 Dec 2012, 09:57 posted on

Slowly but surely, we're on our way to announcing the best smartphone and tablet of 2012. But before we get to them, we'd like to take a look at the other end of the spectrum. Today, we'll talk about tablets - bad tablets, to be more specific, namely the tablets that we were most disappointed by this year. Yeah, we know that nearly all of the tablets we reviewed over the past 12 months were given decent scores, but a couple of them were just meh. Care to know what they are? Okay, enough talking then.

Dude, I think iPads are not the best tablets out there, the best are Nexus 10 and Nexus 4. But iPads are certainly not the worst.

if iOS had as many functionalities as Android iPads could be 2nd best tablets in the market.

PhoneArena...i can already assume the best smartphone you'll choose according to me. And that day everyone (minus a few) might roar at you.

As a primary iPhone user, I'd vote the gs3 as the best smartphone of 2012 simply based on its innovation, and the leap it was over the gs2. I prefer the ip5 personally, but the gs3 should get the nod.

I was so close to get a Tab 2 10.1 when Costco had it on sale on Black Friday for $125... It's a good thing that they sold out, I spent more and got the Note 10.1 instead. Definitely worth it.

To tell you the truth... I don't see the point of having an S-Pen, but I'm still loving the tablet. The tablet is actually for my wife and baby, after using it, makes me want to get one for myself.

I'm also a bit sorry to say that I think I've lost quite some interest to the ASUS Transformer line...

What about the iPad mini, this iPad lags and stuts and loads pages slowly, even the 4s is much better™®©

Lets not forget the xoom by motorola. That had to be the most expensive and worse experience I've had with a tablet. They wanted to be the first tablet to hit the android market and they were, but it was a half baked product has one of the worse screens on the market of any tablet i've ever seen. just all in all poor marketing on this tablet.

Why would the ipad be on the list? It's probably the best tablet available.

OMG phone arena how can you say that about the Samsung tablet when the iPad 4 is exactly that as well. Shocking editorial work. If you gave other reasons fair enough. Very poor work

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 gave marginal improvements over an outdated tablet. 149ppI is just pathetic in this day and age.

The iPad 4 has significant improvements (processing power) over a tablet that wasn't really outdated and is still an excellent product. Sure, the iPad 4 is expensive, and being released so soon after the iPad 3 raise some eyebrows, but just because these facts gives iHaters fuel to bash the product/company, that doesn't make the iPad 4 a bad product, and definitely doesn't deserve to be on this list.

And folks, this comes from an iHater. Their products are far too expensive, and I hate their business model and ethics, but I can't deny that the iPad 4 (and 3) is an impressive piece of electronics.

Great to know that some one can absolutely not b a fan of apple, but still give credit where it's due. Hating apple has nothing to do with the iPad, its just a product. Thank u for being a mature techie, and not a childish joke.
