These are just the worst gadgets that were inteneded to be high end. Obviously there are worse phones somewhere but there was no point except these were ones people bought expecting them to be good.

How the F is that the Nexus for Verizon? I had the phone.. it's a great phone. the PHONE people.. PHONE.

What you could put on this list is Verizon's awful handling of the updates for said Nexus.. but the fact that Verizon SUCKS BALLS when it comes to updating ALL phones, does not make the Nexus any worse of a PHONE.

Lets list the iPHone as the WORST phone EVER because of all the litigation issues that they are behind. The logic there is about the same.

C'mon PA.. really.

Idk what you mean great customer service haha, it's a friggin headache to get a brand new phone whose power button stopped working replaced. Should've just went through apple, this is nuts. The service is great

Some folks claimed I was a Samsung fanboy because I thought the projector shoulda been best innovation. This should show you why I'm not a Samsnug fanboy...

I had a G Nex....and as a phone....it sucked. There is no two ways around it. The Rezound coulda made this list too. As a....phone....it was unreliable. Thats enough to put it on the list or even be mentioned. Some of us use these phones as actual phones. I do not like Samsung phones at all. They are innovative, have nice features....but as a phone....they can do better.

I can defend them as a company and not like their phones.

iPhone 5 can't be considered as worst per se.

It sure is overpriced for what it offers. An outdated OS & zero technological innovation. And Apple's policies are worse.

But, going by the logic based on which the list is compiled, I see no reason to omit iPhone 5. It snugly fits into the category.

I am bracing for the extreme flaming that will be initiated when PA crowns Apple iPhone 5 as the 'Best Smartphone of 2012' or one of the three in the list.

That's the point, we're not putting down the Galaxy Nexus as a phone. The issue is with Verizon being absolutely terrible at pushing updates. That failure by Verizon at least deserved a mention here, because it has not only messed up the Nexus experience for its customers, but it led to Google essentially giving up on the carrier for the Nexus 4.

they haven't slated the galaxy nexus in anyway, they simply and rightly stated that Verizon failed with the updates and as its a nexus that defeats the purpose of the phone.

Lets talk about the worst PHONE... let me scroll up agian. yep, it says PHONE. So I'm expecting to see what's so bad about the PHONES.

That's my issue.. an honorable mention about the nexus PHONE, when the honorable mention has NOTHING to do with the hardware at all.. it's VERIZON screwing up the updates.

I'm not a fanboy.. I hate Apple more than words can say.. but I believe they make a great product. I hate them for their corporate approach. Big difference.

You know, the Brightside is kind of a crappy phone. It works all right, but the interface is ugly as sin and the phone doesn't offer that much. If I were writing a worst phones article, I would include it just for those two, but the price on Verizon really does make the Brightside a f**king ludicrous phone.

No. People are mad for a very legit reason.

This article is about worst PHONE. People, including me, are upset because the gnex was mentioned for something that had nothing to do with the phone itself. Going by the slow updates from Verizon logic they used to include it, then EVERY PHONE in verizons 2012 line up should have been included. Being that Verizon is hands down one of the worst when in comes to timely updates. Don't see many people disagreeing with the intuition do you? Because its a crap phone. But wait its an android right? Hmmm, there goes that biased theory of yours, the i5 was released with an unfinished and severely lacking mapps app, dings and scratches out of the box, and multiple software issues. My gnex outperforms every phone I've put it up agaisnt , baring the gs111 and gnote 11. The gnex is not a bad phone, Verizon is a bad carrier, and it is not fair to include the gnex over carrier.

When are you going to drop this air of neutrality you hide behind and just admit you love apple?

No, its still a good phone. Verizon and sprint just suck at the whole nexus update thing. Im having fun waiting to see how long I have to wait for 4.2. But right now 4.1.1 is fine enough for me coming from gingerbread.

ok first off they stated who's fault it was and never slated the phone itself, second no they dont have to mention the iphones problems, your logic would mean they would have to mention every phone and its problems...why do you only direct your hate to the iphone fanboy?

mostly though the nexus line's major selling point is fast updates as other android phones could wait months for updates a nexus phone gets on date of release. the fact this wasnt the case defeated the point of the entire phone.....thats defiantly worth mentioning. the iphone gets its updates no matter how disappointing on time but thats not the main reason for the iphone. where as the nexus line up that is its main purpose so not having that makes the deal a fail.

im sure you will turn this into ''look at me i win yay me'' without actually bringing a real comment on what ive stated. its what fanboys do
