PhoneArena Awards 2012: Best Product Design

When checking out a new gadget, one of the first things that creates an impression in a consumer's mind is the way the device looks and the way it feels when it is being used. In other words, a product's design is a pretty big deal, and companies that make phones and tablets are well aware of that fact. That is why the next category in the PhoneArena Awards of 2012 is for the best product design...

Ya know, if I seem biased towards APPLE - I probably am - I dislike patent troll companies who claim to innovate and yet year after year the end result do not back up the claim. A Closed OS is destined to die, but APPLE, no matter how much shrinkage it experiences, will always have a niche in the marketplace.
Some folks can live with a Closed OS and overpay for the phone, apps, and other accessories - I cannot and will not succumb to conformity.

what some of us are saying that with Apple's business history and iOS aside Apple does REALLY well on the Hardware front, sure they could stand to mix it up a little but they don't really have to, they have a winning formula. the iPhone 5 is genuinely a nice phone.

I just want to say that the black HTC ONE S had "scuffgate" issues so it's no better than the iPhone 5...

I would say the LG Optimus G is one of the best design phones of 2012!
