#1 and #2 might be the biggest stories that vaporized too.. lol. maybe i was just hoping for more from the first few nokia WP7 phones.. hmm. Tmo's official statement said that the merger was still on, they were just going to put all the money into fighting the DoJ for now and then refile with the FCC after they "win" the DoJ fight. Who knows how all that will turn out though.

I agree with the rankings. Nokia needed to do something to stay alive in the mobile world, though i would have loved to see android on a nokia phone. ATT-Mobile deal has been a thorn in my side, being that i work for tmobile. Its nice to know i may still may be able to keep my job after all. HTC buying into beats was a smart move. even though the entire beats ecosystem to me is a joke ( only a slightly better sound card in laptops, and overpriced headphones) it will do well to boost interest in HTC as a whole.

Hmm.. Why there's no Google's acquisition of Motorola? That's the biggest deal Google ever made.

my first guess would be because its not finalized, but neither is the ATT merger.. so i dunno. maybe because it doesnt change anything other than adding a big defence shield to android manufacturers since google is going to share its new patents with others. good question though.

HTC beats shouldv been first , no one's hearin all the time about nokia wp7 or at&t tmo merger , but htc's beats is everywhere

i like you have given first place for nokia & MS. This is just the beginning for them, lets wait and get more from Nokia. Nokia is unlike apple, they will do what they say!

I think the Google/Motorola deal is much more significant than HTC putting a slightly better sound processor in their clunky phones. Even if the only significant thing that comes from Motorola is the defense of the Android ecosystem because of patents... that's a pretty big deal. That takes alot of power away from Apple in regards to them trying to shut everyone down. These Moto patents can give Apple a major setback in their world domination plans. Notice that Apple never tried to sue Moto ever. Cause they know that they're probably in violation of numerous Moto patents, being that they invented the cell phone industry.

I agree with this! Symbian is
already very old! I think Nokia
had to develop new
technology! These features are
nice and interesting phone
design! Do not just survive in
symbian! Success for nokia!
