PayPal to offer mobile payments service

It looks like that PayPal is working on a new mobile payment service, as the company has posted an advertisement, seeking to recruit a business manager and a senior product manager for a new PayPal Mobile' group. The new unit aims at providing mobile payment services to consumers and merchants. It isn't a secret that the company has been interested in the market of mobile micropayments for some time. The arrival of the TextPayMe, which offers PayPal-style payment service over SMS, seems to have urged PayPal to work harder in this direction.
