Part of a BlackBerry 10 L-Series video tutorial leaks
Share:
The video appears to be in the style of the video tutorial for the BlackBerry PlayBook and shows how sliding down on the screen removes the menu at the bottom of the page, but reveals a toolbar on top. It also shows how an upward slide on the screen will shrink what you are viewing on the phone to thumbnail size. It's not much, but it just might get the juices flowing for those waiting for the big day.

The upward swipe gesture... Nice. How come no one else thought of that?

im a huge BB fan..but the new jolla or sailfish OS(folks of MeeGo) re invent MeeGo and offers a swipe nature UI as well---up, down, left and right... thats why they are both beautiful!
and im rooting for both of them!!!

Nokia did the same thing with MeeGo. Only difference was that you could swipe into any direction.

Doesn't "Google Now" on Android show up with a upward swipe?

Im really pulling for RIM to get back in the game. I dont know about you all but Im getting sick and tired of just having two decent OSs. Im excluding Windows as Im not at all interested in Windows OS as it just seems ugly to look at. No matter how you market those damn tile(active). It is still ugly. Also, is it just me or does the hadware look meh? Im really hoping that is not the finish product as RIM is known for putting out decent hardware.

Agree...
Even the clock or the way the alarm is set is MeeGo/MaeMo style...
