This ad was probably made by an ifan,no doubt concerned about the rise of android tablets especially this year with the transformer prime kicking it off and trying their best to make a comical ad against asus.
The thing is the most ironic factor of this parody ad is that its almost the exact type of ad and pr that apple actually uses to sell its products to susceptible ifans.
Apple always bombards with 'this is so cool'.......'you love it',always hinting and social popularity and acceptance if you display your the owner of an apple product as every apple product is somehow amazing market leading revolutionary stuff, and of course 'Apple loves everyone of its fans'.
I'm in agreement android manufacturers while having the best tech and product and majority market share they really should advert better or in some manufacturers case actually make an actual advertisement full stop. Seeing how the products are so successful now one could only imagine how much they be with better advertising. The thing is with android it goes kinda along the lines of Htcs moto of quietly brilliant,and doesn't resort to the apple 'Im cool,everybody now loves me,I've arrived' kinda mentality

Apple, usually, shows the product being used in front of a white background. The focus is on the product itself and it doesn't distract people with other garbage.
That Asus commercial is just god awful. If I saw that on TV, I'd make fun of it too. I agree with you guys though. The device itself rocks. I agree with PA on their advertising efforts though.
