Pantech Vega Note image leaks prior to unveiling, shows rear fingerprint scanner

The Pantech Vega Note is expected to be unveiled on October 10th and the phablet apparently has the rumored fingerprint scanner; recently we showed you the invitation being sent out for the unveiling that takes place on Thursday, and it shows a fingerprint covering the bottom of the invitation. It also shows a "wax seal" covering the scanner...

I wish fingerprint technology would just go away. \(..)/ It's a thing that just should not be on consumer mobile devices. Why not develop NFC technology further. Two that I can think of is Moto Skip and the NFC ring. At least that way, you can disable the NFC tag or ring from your device should they become compromised or if you lose them.
