Cheap dumb phones – we see them less and less nowadays, yet a new model gets announced every now and then; a new model like the Pantech Swift, which is now available on AT&T. What we have on our hands is a device for the younger crowd, judging by the presence of a hardware QWERTY keyboard. Teens love to text, you know...

Before anyone gets the idea that Pantech is some budget handset maker, keep in mind they do make beasts, they just don't release them in the states.
Hmmm shame this phone is stuck on at&t, our secretary's son needs a new feature phone....

Quite true. The Burst, even being a budget smartphone, is still very competitive, even with pricier models. Pantech has some very good phones in their home Asian markets

I hope this means they're finally putting the Ease out to pasture... They've had that stuck in their lineup for a few years now.

Why can't anyone make any new keyboard slider phone that isn't a piece of crap? Mine is 18 months old and it's way better than this or anything I've seen come out in the past 6 months.
