I really don't get why people continue to call ANY touch screen phone that comes out an iPhone killer. It's become such a cliche it's hardly worth noting. All these new touchscreen phones have differences that they shouldn't really be compared to the iPhone anyway. For instance, the physical QWERTY keyboard. It's getting a little old hearing the cliche, and hopefully people can let phones become successful on their own rather then making that same old comment....... That said, it looks like a cool phone and I'm interested to see how things pan out for it!

ARE YOU KIDDING?? did you not see the hands on video? This is different than every other PDA because all PDA are built around being connected with a computer, as where the Palm Pre with its Web OS is centered around being connected wirelessly.

how does that not make sense to you. All PDA's = Built around being pluged into a computer. Palm Pre = Built to never be connected to anything. Understand now? Have you not seen any video's on this phone? This OS is way beter than any touchwiz/touchflo/android/windows UI clone.

I have a hard time understanding how all PDA's are built around being pluged into a computer??? PDA's are suppost to get people away from needing a computer everywhere they go, that's the whole point. They have access to e-mail, the internet, business applications, all the things you would need a computer for, but DON'T because you have your PDA...

Palm Pre = Built to never be connected to anything. Its a WIRELESS DEVICE. That is nothing new. Im sure youll have to plug it in to transfer data to and from your pc, so again, that made no sense.

come on ladies stop arguing, we will just have to wait and see for ourselfs what the pre has to offer. I know I will get my hands on one as soon as they are available. Until then continue to play with whatever pda you currently have. P.S. would you have loved buying like 100 shares of palm back in december, you would have made some serious cash by now.
