Palm to unveil Treo 800p on March 15?

There usually lots of rumors going on the net about new Treo smartphones from Palm. This time a member of the TreoCentral forums, called slinky, revealed that Palm is about to introduce Treo 800p on March 15. According to the member, who claims to have seen a hands-off demo, the device appears to be slimmer and slightly smaller than the current Treo 650. Unfortunately, it was not mentioned which Palm operating system will power the device. The Treo 800p is reported to feature:

• 320 x 320 display
• Bluetooth 2.0
• 3.2 mega pixels camera
• SD memory expansion slot
• 128MB RAM
• Wi-Fi support

The Treo 800p is expected to be available for less than $600, although information regarding carriers was not revealed.
