Palm has launched its new GPS Navigator smartphone edition which features a Bluetooth enabled SiRFStarIII GPS receiver that is said to pair seamlessly with Treo 650 and 700. By inserting the 1GB memory card preloaded with maps into your smartphone and pairing it with the GPS receiver, you will get access to detailed maps of the United States and Canada. The software used is the new TomTom Navigator 6, which includes trip-planning, speed limit information and other useful features. The TomTom software provides voice-guided turn-by-turn instructions and the user can choose from more than 30 voices. The package also includes a vehicle device cradle with charging capabilities and a windshield mount.
