Down rank this comment if you think Palm Phail and Palm Phlail are crap phones.

herbiederb, you seem to hate Palm for some reason. All of your comments on the Engadget post about this today seem trollish. anyways though, IMO, this is a good step for Palm for getting some more sales for their models, but they're definitely gonna need some new hardware, and soon.

Have an ongoing debate/argument/rivalry (choose one or all) with some of the Palmies there. My comments are pretty accurate and funny which really irritate them. Were having fun here reading them. btw.. I was a huge Palm fan back in the I, III, IIIx, V, Vx and VII days. They sat on their laurels for a while and a lot of us loyal consumers left. They came back with WebOS last year but as you know have made one poor decision after another and pretty much doomed themselves. They need to license out the OS... run the MS model.

Buddy just like to egg people on, some of it is fanboyism too.

I'm tired of the Pre and the Pixi. Palm needs to make a whole new device. They had a chance here, but again, they blew it.

Two new devices with a new OS, give them time. I love Pre and if I didn't think something better was coming this year would own it. There is a lot to like about Palm but prejudice prevents an open mind.

I love webOS, just not the Pre and the Pixi. I'm sure everybody is ready for Palm to make a new device. I don't see why I was down ranked.

Looks like at&t may finally have some diversity to their smart phone line up with web OS and android joining the stable

The Pre and Pixi have done great things for us (Sprint). I only hope to see the company turn the corner and succeed in the future.

All three carriers, so far all with failing results. Palm just isn't going to be able to stand alone with Android, Rim, and the Window's mobiles(which is also loosing ground). They might as well merge with Droid suck it up and make the best of a trailing dinosaur. By adding their product in a last ditch effort to save them just shows the desperation in my opinion. We've seen one too many times AT&T dumbs already powerful phones down. As seen in its, Nokia e71x attempt. Still a very powerful smart phone but alot of good features were removed for more, sadly inferior apps and programs. The AT&T email client is slow at best, AT&T nav is sluggish and take awhile to find a signal, in their infinite wisdom removed the FM radio... So I am very interested to see what they change or remove from an already failing product line...
