Palm Pixi Plus now free from AT&T
Remember just a few days ago when we told you that AT&T was offering the Palm Pixi Plus for $50 after a rebate and your signature on a two-year pact? The carrier has quickly taken the price of the webOS device down to zero, as in $0. That matches the price that Verizon is charging for their version of the phone. The caveat is that you will have to pay at least $15 a month for 200MB of data with the carrier's new DataPlus package which has an overage charge of $15 for the next 200MB of data. You have to wonder how poorly the phone fared in just the few days it was in AT&T's line-up for the big brass to make this potentially embarrassing move.
