Paid apps drew $8 billion in revenue during 2012

The business of selling apps remains sizzling hot as metrics firm adeven suggests that the Apple App Store added 435,000 new apps in 2013 to total 815,000 while revenue at the Google Play Store was up from 311% from January through November while downloads were up 48%; but according to Canalys, just 25 developers account for 25% of the revenue for both the App Store and the Google Play Store...

Theres no taxes for apps is there... I just thought of this. I find this rather disturbing for all the revenue apps can bring. I think the same goes for online downloads.

I get charged my state tax on every app. I just looked at my last several purchases and confirmed this is the case.
