It looks as though certain places are really placing an all out watch for drivers using their cell phones...

what are you talking about dide why wouldnt rules apply to them? im sure no matter what the cops do, people will still talk on their phones.

i agree with u fanman.. even though i bought a bluetooth headset i sometimes find myself on speaker with my phone.. but lucky in cali 1st offense is only $20 i think...

There was a media warning of the zero-tolerance for only one day. I would think they would sacrafice one single day of talking while driving to avoid a $120 ticket if they dont any other day.

I live in NYC and I never gotten caught talking on my phone when I use my speaker phone... (there is always a first) But honestly I dont think using a speaker phone is an offense.
