Over 200,000 units of the Samsung Galaxy S have been sold in South Korea so far
This summer has already proven itself to be a big win for smartphones as we witnessed both the HTC EVO 4G and Apple iPhone 4 rack up some impressive sales thus far. However, we're still not yet to the halfway point for the sizzling summer, but there is a good indication that the Samsung Galaxy S, with all of its various brothers and sisters, could potentially be added to the list of successful launches so far. Over in South Korea, Samsung has been able to rack up sales of over 200,000 units for the Samsung Galaxy S – and that doesn't take into account the many more sold over in Europe. At this point, the lightning fast Android handset could already be well on its way past the 1 million unit mark worldwide, especially in the next few weeks when we begin to see the variants of the handset make their assault in the US market. Things will surely look a bit more interesting when that time rolls around, but in the mean time, you can't help but think that the Galaxy S could become one giant force that can take things to a new level.
