you must compare the original arc with a phone from the same level, for example samsung galaxy s or the s plus (1.4ghz) which both aren't gonna get the ICS.

and they priced about the same too
although arc is slighty cheaper

Arc was 100 euros cheaper since the launch.
I was torn between arc and sgs2 but went for arc because of that price difference
