Oracle has lost its attempt to bring back the Gosling patent, which the USPTO reversed days after the agreed-upon cutoff date...

Oh, and Oracle toad Florian Mueller was just referring to this patent as a phoenix risen from the ashes. Seems like he's pulling crap from his arse again and putting the old positive spin on it.

He actually had two posts on it, including one today that he managed to update quickly after it was tweeted that the judge "would be considering it". It'll be interesting to see what (if anything) is said about the ruling now that it's out.

ya, i read that post. He couldn't stop talking about how Oracles claims are valid and there was no way the judge would dismiss it. Then he did. Really calls into question not only his bias, but his "expert analyst" title. Wasn't it steve jobs who said analysts are all full of s**t?

Florian Mueller is garbage....and some folks look to his analysis as gospel...lol.
Some of us in these forums around the net probably do a better job than he does.
