OnePlus today announced that it's going to update all its smartphones to Android 6.0 Marshmallow - more exactly, all three of them (pictured above): OnePlus One, OnePlus 2, and OnePlus X.

While the company notes that it "can't promise specific dates yet", it's confident that it will manage to update the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2 to Marshmallow sometime in the first quarter of 2016 (January - March). As for the OnePlus X, which is the newest among the three devices, OnePlus is already "working hard to bring Marshmallow" to it "as soon as possible" - this might mean that the update could be ready to roll out before the end of the year, though that's just our guess.

Interestingly, OnePlus says that what will be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow on the OnePlus One is Cyanogen OS, not OxygenOS, since the latter "isn’t what the product officially ships with" (despite being OnePlus' own OS).

Do you own have of OnePlus' three handsets? Which one do you think will get to taste Marshmallow first?
