Back after a week's banned, finally.... PA banned me for assuming
and posting sensitive things, wow.
Looks awesome to, but if only they got rid of them rounded
Curves, and made it an Edge2Edge design, with along flat rear surface.
Another big letdown by Samsung; why not E5250 DCorQC running
at 2.0Ghz, 3Gb Ram, so you can open 3tabs, browse for 10
minutes needn't to worry about clearing the Ram. Also why not
1368-860, and 400ppi. Android owners allways looks for
specs, o finally Mali400mp8 with 8cores overclocked to 527ghz....
Is that asking to much Samsung?

I think you and I have discussed this before troll... You are asking WAY too much than is necessary. What you're asking would do 2 things, either harm your device and make it vulnerable to something along the lines of blowing up, or make it a brick, and it would just be easier to carry around an ultrabook instead. It sounds like you want your phone to replace your laptop.

Yes but the bigger screen will probably make it not last as long. The razr maxx had a 4.3 inch screen with a 3300 mAh battery, while the note II has a 5.5 inch screen with a 3100 mAh battery.

But if processor and radio in Note2 is more efficient, it will offset drain from larger screen.

720p on a bigger screen, let's hope its SA+. If not, that would be disappointing.

i'm praying for SA+. They haven't put it on galaxy nexus, galaxy note, galaxy s3... Why are they sticking to pen tile now, when rbg is superior tech of the two and it was awesome on the gs2?

I think I remember Samsung saying that they used Pentile in their latest devices because it increases the lifespan of the display, because Pentile takes out 1/3 of a subpixel (that being the blue subpixel) and that subpixel harms the display or something... Though I could be entirely wrong.

thanks for the reply. I think i read something a while back about certain pixels dying faster than others. So you may be entirely correct.

Soon another company will launch with a lousy phone with just a 4 inch screen..

Hmm 5.5 inches of splendor with removable memory & battery. YES please..

Sammy, well done. I'll get it November when Im eligible to upgrade. Maybe then they'll offer other colors, like grey, red, etc.

Anyone not getting this and leaning towards the iphoney, you get what you pay for.

Gallito, Samsung knows people like removable storage. They did this with the s3, with 3 memory versions available, and a memory card spot up to 64 GB, making total possible memory 128 GB. And its all accessible as a USB stick through MTP protocol.
Consider yourself informed

The Galaxy SIII comes on 16, 32GB versions too, and they have have removable memory.

Sorry, as much as you like to say Samsung is copying Apple, Samsung is always one step ahead, which is listening to their customers. Something Apple doesn't do, at least until it hurts their market share.

C'mon gallitoking you really can't think that? If the Galaxy Note II is just bark than the iPhone 5 will be a spit up hairball. lol

Show me the innovation in iPhone? Pureview, MeeGo, WebOS, BB10, now that's innovation.

Actually, you might call iPhone 4's special way of holding INNOVATIVE, and up for patenting.

Yeah, the iPhone is so far behind you have to say that the iPhone is held in different standard. Almost everything in this phone kills the iPhone. Yes, it's not very innovative, but compared to what Apple is doing, this is pretty much innovation.

Jellybean VS iOS 6
720P VS 640P
5.5 inch VS 4.0

Yes, I'm comparing to what the new iPhone is supposed to be, and it still loses.

gallitoking, a 1.6GHz is not innovation YES, but it's unprecedented. Also 720p is not innovation but a phone with a HUGE 5.5" display is unprecedented. Also the scribe pen is innovation not the norm. You could never do what the scribe pen can do on older phones with styluses.

Android 4.1.1 is the HUGE innovation! Google Now is by FAR the best thing to happen to the smartphone in a VERY long time. If you haven't had the pleasure of using Google Now please do & see what you are missing.

If you are so into innovation I hope you are not looking at Apple for it! Apple STOPPED innovating 3 years ago after the iPhone 4 was released. Since then they have been too busy to innovate because they are buying tech & taking companies to court.

iPhone 4S NOT innovation.

iPhone 5 NOT innovation based on the Chinese copy, IF indeed it turns out to be like that.

iOS6 NOT innovation, C'mon it looks STILL like the original iOS from the first EDGE iPhone.

Siri NOT innovation, it was bought from Nuance. It might be innovation if you like mustangs that is. lol

what I don't get is why bring Apple to a Android article?? haters speak more about Apple than actual consumers. please cut it down.. there is enough Apple articles already and stick to the Note II... SAE look I know this was the toy you were drooling about but let me show you what I mean in a example... the movie "The Hangover" best movie ever caught everyone by storm... "The Hangover part II" not so much exactly and that's what will happen here.

Because you're a huge iFan. And when an iFan mentions innovation anywhere (or rather the lack of), they are always referring to Apple, as if they're the most innovative around. We're just here to show you how innovative Apple really is (or rather the lack of) compared to Samsung.

No one can keep up with Android, unless your well off, or with a high income. Cause they launch a new
phone every 6month's, where Apple launches a new phone every 14 to 18 month's. So what standard's are you talking about, your talking nonsenses!

is just that Android is about releasing different devices and if it works keep releasing to use the device momentum.. big screens powerful cores and a new Android version that's getting better to reach devices. that doesn't work in Apple. . here they pick a feature and exploited, and Apple is no hurry to bring out huge screens or with dual, triple or quad cores.. no need for that.. that's why you cant judge an Android on Apple standards and vice versa

Yea, I'm getting one... The current note is too Laggy... Yea, it just lags all over the place. I got the Samsung Galaxy Nexus GSM and it is fast and I have only seen one time with some lag. Way better than my current Sam Note Lag...
In my opinion all vendors just need to upgrade to JB for their users. It is a much better Android experience.!!!

I have the Samsung Galaxy Note right now and with Jelly Bean I will get the new one, cause I'm not going to wait for them to take their sweet time to upgrade the current note to JB... Plus rounded sides, and all the other upgrades, I will get it. Now, does anybody want to buy the old one?

Samsung knows it has something special. No one else has anything even close, and when they come out with phablets they will all look like followers.

Question is: Did the original Note fill the need for this and the sales disappoint because everyone who wants one is still on year one with the original? Or did the original just show the hunger for this bad boy?

What is the over/under on sales? If the original sold about 10-12 million, want to put it at 11 million? Place bets, folks.......
