Microsoft has created a dedicated website for its new Surface tablet to keep us updated on the news surrounding the slate(s), and posted the first promo video of its foray into the tablet hardware market. More hands-on videos started trickling down from around the Internets, and the comments about what Microsoft has done are overwhelmingly positive...

I like the smart cover keyboard thing they went for. I have to say even though I love Apple, this cover is way better and much more useful.

Agreed, but to be fair, the device is pre-release, so they may not want someone trying to poke around and showing off something that isn't completely finalized, or that may cause any issues with the display model. Plus, there were others there that wanted to get hands-on

since that's RT, that multiscreen feature could possibly go to the phones. That would be a great differentiation device in the market. Separate out the tools from the toys.

Still miss a HTC Windows RT Tab with HTC Sense .
HD2 will be crap without HTC Sense

This is a great tablet but unfortunately if the price tag is like 600 then I think this tablet will be a no go... If they price it at 400 and 500 like the ipad i would say Microsoft has a real winner.

beautiful,jst absolutely beautiful,built in kickstand,covers that doubles as a keyboard,full windows 8 experience,practically a laptop replacement!

I don't like WP but that video made me want that tablet!!! That looked pimp. I agree. Give us price details, I wouldn't spend more than $500 on it.
