The Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 is the latest tablet made by Asus not named the Google Nexus 7, and is a higher end Android model as befitting the Transformer name; while the tablet has not yet been released, Office Depot shows it on their website as being in stock for $499.99...

Does Gorilla Glass 2 come with an oleophobic coating? I predict mine's gonna get sticky.

That being said however, I have oily ass hands and besides spending loads on wipes, I can only wish for an oil resistant coating... (none I have tried have worked at all... I leave a perfect fingerprint behind even after an alcholo wash to dry out my hands...)
bleh, off to drink... its that kind of a weekend/night

with or without, just buy anti-finger print screen protector. That will do the work. That's if there's available for TF700.

Newegg sent me an email about it being in stock as well, though I think at $386 the 10.1 inch plastic model is pretty nice. There's no reason to get the Prime at around $479.
Champagne one is already out of stock, as is the 64GB model.

Great tablet but I think it would have been a bit better if they would have upped the RAM to 2GB for futureproofing purposes.

I think it would have been a bit better if they were more realistic and priced these correctly, maybe around $299 price point. If you want to move millions that is. At the current price, how many do they really want to sell, Once the fan base is exhausted? To close in price with the current iPad.

It's 100 dollars cheaper than the iPad with 32gb. It also is unique in the fact that it has an optional keyboard dock accessory. Oh and Asus does sell a lot of tablets they're the fourth top seller of tablets. It will sell because it is just as good or better than the iPad so android users will flock to it. Oh and again its 100 dollars cheaper. Also the 16gb ipad doesnt have enough storage for even a moderate user because of retina optimized apps.

Well if you consider the number 4th spot and selling 140k devices a success.
