For those of you who aren't familiar with the Oculus Rift, it is a fairly exciting new entry into the virtual reality gaming world. Virtual reality is something that got big for a short time in the mid-90s, but the technology just couldn't match the dream, and so the idea fell aside until recently. I'm interested in racing and fighter pilot sims. Maybe even see what can be had in future Battlefield and Call of Duty games.

Used the developer version....looks quite good except the resolution isnt as good in the developer version.
Theres a future in this for sure if lots of games support and it has a reasonable price.

No iOS support seems like it'll cut out a huge chunk of mobile gaming. They just have to make an SDK for iOS developers to integrate into games. Personally I think supporting mobile at all with something like the Oculus Rift is kind of silly, I mean are we going to see people on buses wearing the goggles? (And then missing their stop or having someone swipe their wallet). Better not to leave mobile gamers out in the cold, but the experience is going to pale in comparison to a Rift hooked up to a desktop gaming PC.

I am sure iOS support would be coming. The device is still new.
