OS update for the BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9981; device in stock at Expansys
It has been some time since we heard anything new about the BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9981. It was last December when the strange looking BlackBerry handset was first made available in the U.K. At the time, the device was priced at £1,275 which translated into $1998 USD. An official new OS update is available now for the model from Indosat, that loads up BlackBerry 7.1.0.746 on the phone. The update is available via the link below.

Expansys has 9 units to sell of the BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9981

Meanwhile, the BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9981 is now in stock at U.K. online retailer Expansys. The retailer is pricing this one strictly for the Porsche crowd at £1209.99 which includes free shipping. Converted into U.S. Dollars, which after all is the reserve currency of the world, we're talking about $1939 at current forex rates. The device comes to you SIM free and makes a great conversation piece when you whip this out while smoking cigars and sipping brandy with your mates after a hard day at the arbitrage desk.

Expansys has 9 units in stock, so if you would rather spend your money on the BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9981 now instead of waiting for BlackBerry 10, you might want to hurry to get your order in. Yes, there could be 8 other people in the world just as willing to spend almost $2,000 for a cool looking phone with outdated specs. Speaking of specs, you can grab the OS update for the phone by clicking on this link.

Lol cool looking ? it looks like a dumbphone from 2002 !! rim is greedier than apple...selling this s**t for hefty $2000. i can buy a galaxy s iii, an iphone and an ipad with that amount of money

The name explains it all

RIM = Rest In Motion

The majority of that price probably doesnt even go to RIM, it more than likely goes to Porsche for the licensing fee in using their name

thats not it. apple sells their NORMAL device for high price. this is blackberry's LUXARY device

the blackberry porshe is like an one of those diamond/gold plated android phones that car companies sell. those phones are useless for all except collectors items
