OS 5.0 leaked for the BlackBerry Tour 9630
Still considered as one of the latest BlackBerry handsets on the market, OS 5.0 has been finally leaked for the BlackBerry Tour 9630. Tour users will have something to look forward this weekend as the leaked version  of 5.0.0.530 is made available to the masses for download. Some may have been scratching their heads as some older RIM handsets got the treatment way ahead of the slick looking Tour 9630, but it's still nonetheless a welcomed addition for the eager users out there. Now this is a non-Verizon release meaning that you must delete the vendor.xml file before jumping the gun and installing it through the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software. As with any update, it's always recommended to backup your information beforehand so that you'll be protected if things begin to go sour during the installation process. It shouldn't be long now before the official version is available – which could possibly mean a release for its successor.

nice. here's my question guys : After deleting the vendor file and turning off internet (required for leaked os updates due to desktop manager will find official os), I still get an error saying that it wont install. Now, using the AppLoader, what file do I click on i.e. "blackberry.alx" to install the new Leak onto my BB?

Wow. talk about old news. MTS mobility(i think that's their name) released an official 5.0 upgrade months ago. I've been running that for a while now. I just went to their blackberry website and downloaded it from blackberry's website then deleted the vender file and installed it. no issue's as of yet.

Leaked? The official update has been available on just about every carrier other than Verizon for a while now.

This isn't the 1st 5.0 build for the Tour. Sprint came out with .484 last week I believe. Every carrier except Verizon has released an official 5.0 for the Tour. Read on another forum that .530 is very buggy and causing random reboots.
